Triple Chocolate Cookies
Sometimes you just need chocolate. These triple chocolate cookies are a great way to satisfy that chocolate craving.
Notes
This recipe requires the dough to be chilled for 45 minutes to an hour. Keep this in mind when planning!
I use semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in this recipe. I’m sure these would be delicious with a variety of different types of chips. Experiment!
Ingredients
Yield: 2 dozen
1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour
¼ cup Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
¾ cup White Sugar
¼ cup Brown Sugar
1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
½ cup White Chocolate Chips
Instructions
In a medium bowl add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until combined.
In the bowl of a stand mixer cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
Add eggs to the butter mixture one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour mixture to the butter mixture slowly.
Gently fold in chocolate and white chocolate chips.
Scrape down the sides of your bowl with a rubber spatula. Cover dough with cling wrap and chill in the fridge for 45 minutes to an hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Using a 1 ½ tbsp cookie scoop, scoop chilled dough onto the baking sheet. You may also use your hands to pinch and roll dough into balls if you do not have a cookie scoop.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are set.
