Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

Good things come in small packages.

 

Notes

  • You can absolutely make these cookies larger. I just think mini cookies are fun!

  • These are great to serve at parties or to give as gifts.

  • My mom dislikes cinnamon so she leaves it out! Do as you please.

Ingredients

Yield: 4 dozen

2 ½ cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Cinnamon 
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 ½  tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
½ cup White Sugar
⅔ cup Brown Sugar
1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
1 cup Semi Sweet Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl add flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together until combined. 

  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.

  4. Add eggs to the butter mixture one at a time, beating well after each addition. 

  5. Beat in vanilla extract.

  6. Add flour mixture to the butter mixture slowly.

  7. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips. 

  8. Using a 1 tbsp cookie scoop, scoop chilled dough onto the baking sheet. You may also use your hands to pinch and roll dough into balls if you do not have a cookie scoop 

  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are set.
